The building which houses our flower shop (Florería Bahía) has a rich heritage. It  reflects traditions which have been passed down from generation to generation.

Constructed in 1910, this architectural jewel is from the golden years of  Mexico´s history, "El Porfiriato".
Special stone work makes a unique façade featuring a carved stone image of the archangel,  St. Michael.  

 

Notice the laurel leaves.

 

At that time, this type of work was extremely rare.

Observe the centers of two over-sized seashells in bas-relief. These were characteristic of the style during the Porfiriato period.

 The iron verandas are a testimony to the French influence and are representative of bygone years.

The National Institute of Fine Arts designated the façade of our building as a cultural and historical landmark to be preserved for posterity.

 Bahía continues to offer its clients the highest quality from the most prestigious greenhouses. A wide variety of flowers are available year round, especially those which thrive in Mexico´s environment.

We also specialize in home and office delivery.

Orders to México or México City, recived before 16:15 local time (before 23:15 Greenwich hour) are guaranted delivery that day, with the exception of Sundays and holidays which require orders 24 hours in advance.
